We would like to point out that Internet-based data transmission has security gaps, making it impossible to provide complete protection against access by third parties.
We use so-called cookies on our website to recognize multiple use of our offer by the same user/internet connection owner.
Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. They serve to optimize our Internet presence and our offers. These are mostly so-called “session cookies”, which are deleted after the end of your visit.
However, in some cases these cookies provide information in order to recognise you automatically. This recognition takes place on the basis of the IP address stored in the cookies.
The information obtained in this way is used to optimise our offers and make it easier for you to access our website.
For technical reasons, the following data, which your Internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider, is recorded (so-called server log files):
– Browser type and version
– used operating system
– Website from which you visit us (Referrer URL)
– Website you visit
– Date and time of your access
– Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.
This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and thus does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our Internet presence and our offers.
On our website we offer you the possibility to contact us by e-mail and/or via a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing his contact. The data will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site does not take place either.
Use of Google Analytics with anonymization function
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”, on our site. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.
The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, place and frequency of your website visit including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there.
We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymization feature on our website. In this case, your IP address will already be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thus made anonymous.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
Google also offers a opt-out option for the most popular browsers, giving you more control over what information Google collects and processes. If you choose to opt out, no website visit information will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services we may use. For more information about the opt-out option provided by Google and how to opt-in, please see the link below: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Use of reCAPTCHA
In order to protect input forms on our site, we use the “reCAPTCHA” service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”. Through the use of this service it can be differentiated whether the corresponding input is of human origin or whether it is misused by automated mechanical processing.
To the best of our knowledge, the referrer URL, the IP address, the behaviour of website visitors, information on the operating system, browser and length of visit, cookies, display instructions and scripts, the user’s input behaviour and mouse movements in the “reCAPTCHA” checkbox area are transmitted to “Google”.
Google uses the information obtained in this way, among other things, to digitise books and other printed products and to optimise services such as Google Street View and Google Maps (e.g. house number and street name recognition).
The IP address provided as part of “reCAPTCHA” will not be merged with any other data held by Google unless you are logged into your Google account at the time you use the “reCAPTCHA” plug-in. If you wish to prevent “Google” from transmitting and storing data about you and your behaviour on our website, you must log out of “Google” before visiting our site or using the reCAPTCHA plug-in.
Use of Google AdWords
We also use the Google advertising tool “Google-Adwords” to advertise our website. As part of this, we use the “Conversion Tracking” analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google” on our website. If you have reached our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie is stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. These so-called “conversion cookies” lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve your personal identification.
If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not expired yet, we and Google can recognize that you as a user have clicked on one of our ads placed with Google and have been forwarded to our page.
The information collected using “conversion cookies” is used by Google to compile visit statistics for our website. These statistics tell us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and also which pages of our website were subsequently visited by the respective user. However, we or others who advertise through Google Adwords do not receive any personally identifiable information.
You can prevent the installation of the “Conversion-Cookies” by a corresponding setting of your browser, e.g. by a browser setting which generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or specifically blocks only the cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.
You will find Google’s data protection declaration in this regard under the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html
Use of Hotjar
You can contact us free of charge on the basis of the Federal Data Protection Act if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data and their correction, blocking, deletion or revocation of a consent granted. We would like to point out that you have the right to correct incorrect data or delete personal data if there is no legal obligation to retain it.
